Tour Description

Experience the charm of Santiago like never before with our unique Hop On Hop Off City Tour. This flexible adventure allows you to decide where to go and how long to stay at each location. With so many captivating spots in Santiago, you're free to explore at your own pace.

Start your journey whenever you wish from any stop you choose. The Big Bus operates from Tuesday to Sunday, running between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

The 1st stop on our Hop On Hop Off tour is beside the Mall Parque Arauco, a premier shopping destination in Chile and Latin America. Since its opening in 1982, it has been a hub for shopping and entertainment. Today, it offers a diverse mix of gastronomy and fun, featuring both local and international stores, and a Luxury District with brands like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Dior, among others.

The 2nd stop is at the picturesque Bicentennial Park in the Vitacura commune, known as the largest green space in the area. Spanning 27 hectares along the riverbank South of the Mapocho River, the park boasts varied landscapes, including playgrounds, statues, sports zones, and lagoons. Stroll along its trails and visit its two lagoons, home to black-necked swans, flamingos, herons, and fish.

The 3rd stop is the Santiago Cable Car, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the capital. From the main entrance at Pedro de Valdivia, we reach the Oasis Station, where a cable car takes us to the city's top 360º views and the majestic Andes Mountains, amidst lush nature and native Chilean flora.

Rated as Santiago's number 1 attraction, the cable car ascends to the summit of San Cristóbal Hill at the "Estación Cumbre", where the statue of the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception and Bellavista Terrace provide stunning city views and the classic "Motes con huesillo", a refreshing treat for your journey.

The 4th stop is the Funicular located at Parquemet, Santiago's largest green space and a Historic Monument since 2000. With its entrance on Pío Nono, the neoclassical castle designed by architect Luciano Kulczewski serves as the gateway to this heritage site. The funicular cars, recently refurbished, climb approximately 500 meters to the top of San Cristóbal.

It features an intermediate stop at the National Zoo, leading to "Estación Cumbre", where you can connect with Terraza Bellavista, the Santuario de la Virgen, and the Cable Car.

The 5th stop is Santiago's Plaza de Armas, the historical core of the capital and kilometer 0. This captivating space blends colonial architecture with the vibrant energy of urban life. Surrounded by the magnificent Metropolitan Cathedral and colorful edifices like the Post Office, Santiago City Hall, and the National History Museum, the plaza serves as a cultural meeting point where history, local crafts, and the lively city atmosphere merge.

The 6th stop is Plaza de la Constitución, situated in Santiago’s Civic Neighborhood. Here, you’ll find significant governmental buildings and monuments, including statues of key political figures: Diego Portales, Pedro Aguirre Cerda, Jorge Alessandri, Eduardo Frei Montalva, and Salvador Allende. The main attraction is the Palacio de la Moneda (La Moneda Palace), the Chilean presidential seat. Adjacent is the Centro Cultural La Moneda, offering diverse art exhibitions. Nearby are the Metropolitan Intendancy, Santiago Stock Exchange, Club de la Unión, University of Chile, Paseo Bulnes, and Barrio Dieciocho.

The 7th stop is Santa Lucía Hill, a key landmark since Santiago's founding on February 12, 1541. The hill's grand neoclassical entrance, completed in 1902, features a sculpture of Neptune amid an architectural ensemble with curved staircases, fountains, a terrace, and a triumphal arch crowned by a dome.

Beyond the hill and its views, explore the nearby National Library, the Paris-London neighborhood, the San Francisco Church, Casa Central de la Universidad Católica, GAM Gabriela Mistral Cultural Center, and the Lastarria neighborhood, teeming with art galleries, restaurants, bookstores, crafts, and more.

The 8th stop in Providencia at Plaza de la Aviación is an extension of Balmaceda Park, honoring the Chilean Air Force monument erected in 1980. The park features a nearly 70-meter-long and over 25-meter-wide Bicentennial fountain. Stroll along Providencia Avenue, a bustling tourist spot with shops, restaurants, cafes, and bars. Nearby, Barrio Italia is a culinary hotspot with diverse international dining options.

The 9th stop is the Costanera Center, the tallest building in Latin America, rising 300 meters high. This tower is a fusion of modernity and entertainment, making it a prime Santiago attraction. The mall features numerous stores for clothing, technology, sports, cinema, and dining, complemented by a terrace and the Sky Costanera viewing platform for sweeping city views.

The 10th stop combines modernity and gastronomy, located in the El Golf neighborhood of Las Condes. With mid-20th-century architecture from affluent families like Isidora Goyenechea, the main street namesake, the area offers various national and international dining venues and attractions, including Plaza Perú, Las Condes Municipal Theater, and the Las Condes Interactive Museum, where visitors can journey through space and time via engaging 3D audiovisual presentations—perfect for all ages.
