Our adventure begins bright and early, as we depart from our Santiago hotel between 5:00 and 5:30 AM, setting our course for Farellones and Valle Nevado.

Before we start our ascent, we’ll pause briefly at a rental shop. Here, you have the opportunity to rent snow attire, gloves, boots, sleds, or ski gear (note: rentals are not included in the tour price).

Following this, we’ll continue our journey onto the renowned Road of 40 Curves, situated approximately 46 km from Santiago.
As we travel, the breathtaking vistas of the Andes Mountains will unfold before us. With a bit of luck, we might catch glimpses of native Andean wildlife, including viscachas, foxes, pumas, and condors. From the midpoint, snow becomes a familiar sight.

In just about an hour, we’ll reach the Valle Nevado Ski Center, nestled in the Andes' majestic heart. This center boasts over 9,300 hectares of skiable land and features more than 37 kilometers spanning 44 slopes, categorized by difficulty level.

At this point, we’ll have the chance to enjoy skiing and snowboarding. Beginners are welcome to take lessons from professional instructors to either learn the basics or refine their skills, or you may simply take in the stunning snowy vistas.

As we descend, depending on weather conditions, a visit to the charming Pueblito de Farellones is possible. This quaint mountain village marks the gateway to the ski and snowboard resorts during winter. Here, you can explore local shops, cafes, and eateries.
Additionally, you have the option to explore Farellones Park, offering activities like tubing, skiing, a cable car ride, and more. Note that entry to Farellones Park is not included in the tour package and is optional. Tickets can be purchased directly upon arrival.

We will enjoy the snow, landscapes, and activities until 3:00 p.m., after which we’ll reconvene at the designated meeting point to begin our descent back to Santiago.
