Setting off from San Pedro de Atacama at the designated time, we will journey towards the Heart of the Desert. Breathing in the crisp, clean air, we will be invigorated as we proceed to our destination in the Puritama and Guatin Canyon.
This adventure is a blend of natural splendor, thermal waters, and the ancient culture of local communities.
Our trekking will commence as we delve into these awe-inspiring and varied landscapes. We'll navigate the canyon via a winding path along the stream's edge, marveling at the towering rock walls until we arrive at a collection of natural hot spring pools, both warm and refreshing.
We will have the chance to soak and rejuvenate in these natural pools. Taking a dip in these hot springs will energize us to continue our journey. It is advisable to wear a swimsuit beneath your clothing, as there are no restrooms or changing facilities available on-site.
Having relished these waters and regained our strength, we will proceed with our hike to Guatin, a quaint community nestled in the Chilean Altiplano. On the way, we'll enjoy sweeping views of the mountainous terrain and the distinctive rock formations of the region.
