Today, embark on the exciting journey titled "Navigation River Chepu and Dock of the Luz, An Adventure between Sunken Forests and the Pacific Ocean", where nature and culture blend seamlessly to provide an unforgettable experience.

Our adventure begins as we depart from Castro to reach the picturesque Chepu Sector. Here, a local boat awaits to commence our exploration.

We will navigate the Chepu River, immersing ourselves in a landscape of unparalleled natural beauty. Along the route, we'll encounter the breathtaking Sunken Forest, a formation born from the 1960 earthquake, presenting a surreal and evocative view that highlights nature's resilience and strength.

The river journey not only dazzles with stunning vistas but also offers the chance to observe diverse wildlife. Birdwatching will feature prominently, allowing us to glimpse a variety of exotic birds inhabiting the region.

From the elegant Cuca Heron and the majestic Imperial Heron to the mythical Guairao, the vibrant Kingfisher, and the cormorants alongside the Cahuil seagull, each sighting provides a window into the wild life of Chepu.

With a bit of luck, we might also spot aquatic mammals like the elusive Huillín and the friendly Coypus, enriching our encounter with nature further.

As we progress, our course shifts toward the Pacific Ocean.

We will disembark on a tranquil beach and embark on a 20-minute walk to the "Muelle de la Luz". This path leads us to a panoramic vantage point where we can relish an expansive and majestic view of the Pacific Ocean—a perfect spot for reflection and connection with the sea's vastness.

After our hike and enjoying the spectacular scenery, we will return to the boat and head to a quaint House of Rural Tourism in the area. Here, a warm welcome from a local family awaits, along with a delicious lunch crafted from fresh, traditional ingredients. Beyond the culinary delights, we will have the opportunity to explore the house and its gardens, gaining authentic insight into rural life in this Chilean region.

Finally, after a day rich with natural and cultural discoveries, we will return to Castro, carrying with us unforgettable memories of this remarkable excursion. This experience combines the best of nature and local hospitality, offering a complete immersion into the wonders of the Chepu River and its surroundings.
