San Rafael Lagoon - Explorers Bay From Puerto Tranquilo

Depending on your selection, the guide will either pick you up at 7:00 AM in Puerto Tranquilo or we will meet at 9:30 AM at the Bahía Exploradores dock (see below for directions if you choose the option without transfer). Upon reaching the dock, we will have a brief safety briefing, and our guide will provide an overview of our journey.

Once aboard the boat, enjoy a delicious breakfast as you take in the breathtaking views of the final stretch and delta of the Exploradores River. After a gentle two-hour cruise, we will arrive at Laguna San Rafael National Park.

Upon disembarking at the National Park's dock, we'll embark on a short walk along a 30-minute round trip interpretive trail to stretch our legs, visit the restroom, and explore the ruins of the historic Ofqui hotel.

Following this brief pause, we will return to the boat and sail towards the San Rafael Glacier wall, where you can marvel at its majestic descent and the stunning natural landscape surrounding it. Here, enjoy a delightful homemade lunch, and as a special treat, savor whiskey with ancient ice! along with a nice cup of coffee. After this enjoyable navigation, we will return to the dock around 5:00 p.m., and those who opted for the transfer will arrive back in Puerto Tranquilo around 8:00 p.m.
