Your journey starts bright and early from your hotel in Puerto Varas, traveling towards Ensenada Camino, roughly 60 km away. This route will lead you to the iconic Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park. Established in 1926, this historical park is Chile's oldest, covering over 250,000 hectares, mostly within the province of Llanquihue. Its landscapes, shaped by volcanoes, tectonic activity, and glaciers, make it a unique segment of the Andes Mountains.

Our adventure kicks off with a 6 km trek from the Petrohué sector, along a clearly defined path through verdant rainforest. Encounter a variety of endemic flora, nestled in the Southern Andes Temperate Rainforest Biosphere Reserve. Here, you’ll find species like the canelo, coigüe, patagua, and pitra.
