Our journey begins as we set off from San Pedro de Atacama towards a hidden gem in the Desert. For those opting for the transfer service, we will collect you from your hotel at the scheduled time. Departing from San Pedro, we will be invigorated by the crisp, fresh air as we make our way to our destination, commencing in the Catarpe Valley. This oasis amidst the desert is traversed by a river, marking it as the sole green valley within the Cordillera de la Sal, offering a stark contrast to the surrounding arid landscape. Here, we'll witness fascinating rock formations and visit a quaint, charming Church.

Our adventure continues as we pedal on to the pinnacle of today's experience, the Garganta del Diablo. This spectacular red rock canyon stretches for several kilometers, with its narrow walls soaring up to 150 meters high, sculpted by water and wind over millennia, showcasing a breathtaking geological wonder.

Cycling through the "Devil’s Throat" is not just about the thrill, but also about embracing nature in its purest form. As we traverse, we'll have the chance to observe the local flora and fauna, and if fortune smiles upon us, we may spot lizards, foxes, and hares. We'll pause to soak in the tranquility of a murmuring brook or the vibrant green of the nearby vegetation, if we’re lucky.

Our journey proceeds until we encounter El Túnel, a passage through the mountains that marks the beginning of our return to San Pedro.
