Regular Bus From Punta Arenas To Ushuaia
TransferAbout this transfer
The bus departs from the South Bus Terminal in Punta Arenas at 08:00 am on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Shortly after departure, we will arrive at the Strait of Magellan where we will board a barge for the crossing. This navigation takes approximately 30 minutes.
Upon reaching the opposite shore, the bus will continue its journey to Ushuaia, pausing at the border for immigration procedures in both Chile and Argentina. Please note that SENASA and SAG controls will be conducted, and certain items such as sausages, fruits, and other foods are prohibited from being transported.
Next, we will pass through Rio Grande where additional passengers will join us. Please remain on the bus during this stop. We expect to arrive at our final destination around 8:00 pm.
It's important to note that no official breaks are planned. However, the transfer includes an onboard breakfast service featuring a bottle of water, a ham and cheese sandwich, and a cereal bar.
Before boarding the barge, if the shop is open, you may have the opportunity to make purchases. We recommend bringing cash if you wish to buy anything at the border stops.< o:p>
This service is ideal for those needing to cross the border.
