Tour Description


Today, we will dive into the stunning natural beauty of Patagonia and set out to discover one of the world's most remarkable glaciers.

We will embark on our journey early in the morning from Puerto Natales using either a bus or a shared vehicle. Departure is from centrally located hotels in Puerto Natales at around 6:00 AM.


After navigating the border crossings at Cerro Castillo and Cancha Carrera, our route takes us through the expansive Argentine Patagonian steppe towards the charming tourist town of El Calafate, situated approximately 270 km from Puerto Natales. It is advisable to have all your documentation ready and up-to-date for a swift border crossing.

Throughout the journey, you will have the opportunity to observe local wildlife, such as guanacos and rheas, and enjoy views of Lake Argentino and the Santa Cruz River as they flow towards the Atlantic Ocean.

As we travel the 80 km to Los Glaciares National Park, we expect to arrive between approximately 1:30 PM and 2:00 PM, with the timing subject to border procedures.

The Perito Moreno Glacier presents a dynamic display of sights and sounds, with ice calving occurring regularly. This makes it highly likely that you will witness this extraordinary natural event.
