Tour Description
Our journey kicks off today, leaving Puerto Varas promptly at 8:00 AM. For those preferring to travel independently, we'll convene at 10:00 AM at the designated meeting spot in Petrohué.
The first highlight of our day is the must-see Petrohué Falls. Here, the river’s waters cascade over bold volcanic lava rocks, creating a breathtaking natural spectacle.
Following our time at the falls, we will proceed to the Petrohué area, nestled along the lake’s edge, famous for its stunning landscapes and the emerald hue of its waters.
Here, we will board the "Lagos Andinos" catamaran to embark on a journey across Todos los Santos Lake. This cruise offers magnificent views of the Osorno, Calbuco, Tronador, and Puntiagudo volcanoes, as well as the lush vegetation surrounding us.
After a 2 to 3-hour sail, we will dock to explore Villa Peulla, a quaint and secluded mountain village nestled within the Andes Mountains. Known for its extraordinary scenery, it’s enveloped by rivers, waterfalls, and volcanoes, lying within the Valdivian Rainforest.
In this picturesque village, we will stroll along a charming trail to witness the iconic "Velo de Novia Waterfall" and take a break for lunch (not included).
In Peulla, you have the chance to engage in various activities, some of which may incur additional costs. You can select from:
- Hiking through the surroundings of Peulla to uncover the diverse biodiversity of the Valdivian rainforest, or visit the famed "Velo de la Novia Waterfall."
- Biking. Rent a bike to explore the scenic trails in the vicinity, and perhaps savor a traditional Chilean lunch at a local eatery.
- Alternatively, enjoy some "Free Time"; explore the town, visit the local church, or simply unwind amidst the natural beauty.
Subsequently, we'll board the catamaran once more to traverse Lake Todos Los Santos, relishing the panoramic vistas as the sun sets, eventually reaching the Petrohué pier and then heading back to your hotel in Puerto Varas.
