Tour Description
Today, embark on an adventure to explore the ultimate trilogy in Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park: the thrilling Osorno Volcano, the stunning Petrohué Falls, and the mesmerizing turquoise waters of Todos los Santos Lake.
Your journey kicks off with a departure from your hotel in Puerto Montt at around 8:30 a.m. or from Puerto Varas at approximately 9:00 a.m.
Upon arrival in Puerto Varas, celebrated as the "City of Roses", our tour commences at 9:10 a.m. We navigate around Lake Llanquihue, capturing breathtaking views of the snow-draped Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes, until reaching the Ensenada area.
From Ensenada, we ascend to the Osorno Volcano Ski and Mountain Center, set at an elevation of 1,240 meters. Over the course of an hour, you'll have ample time to soak in the scenery, take photographs, and admire the unrivaled views of the snow-capped volcanic peaks, Calbuco Volcano, Lake Llanquihue, and the Pacific Ocean.
For those interested, optional activities include enjoying a coffee or sandwich at the on-site café or taking the lifts to 1,450 meters at the Spring Station or 1,750 meters at the Glacier Station, offering a magnificent and awe-inspiring view of Lake Llanquihue.
At 11:45 a.m., we begin our descent of the volcano back towards the Ensenada sector, where you can savor a delightful lunch amidst nature (not included).
By approximately 2:00 p.m., we set off for the Petrohué Falls. After paying the entrance fee to the National Park, you'll witness one of the area's most iconic landmarks: the Petrohué Falls Viewpoint. Here, the Petrohué River courses through large masses of ancient crystallized lava, resilient to erosion for centuries. This tour segment lasts around 30 minutes.
At 3:00 PM, we proceed to Petrohué Port, located on the edge of Lake Todos los Santos. During this part of the tour, you may opt for a 30-minute cruise around the lake bay (not included) or a leisurely stroll along the lakeshore, surrounded by lush evergreen forest, the majesty of the Osorno Volcano, and the stunning turquoise color of the Petrohué River.
Finally, at 5:30 PM, we return to the hotel, enriched with unforgettable memories of awe-inspiring landscapes and a deep connection with nature.
