The journey begins with a departure from Coyhaique, heading west along one of the most iconic routes of the Carretera Austral towards Puerto Aysén.
After covering the initial 30 km, we will pause to explore the Río Simpson National Reserve, which spans over 41,000 hectares. Our visit starts at the reserve's visitor center, where you'll get a first glimpse of the diverse flora and fauna native to this area.
