Fuimos en temporada baja con la familia y terminamos disfrutando cada minuto. El guía, Martín, sabía muchísimo: nos explicó por qué la laguna cambia de tono según la luz y hasta señaló unas vizcachas escondidas detrás de las rocas. On our honeymoon, we loved how smoothly this Altiplano trip ran. The van arrived outside our Iquique hotel at 5:55 a.m., exactly as promised, and the driver messaged us five minutes beforehand. Seats reclined comfortably, there was plenty of legroom, and the little fleece blankets were welcome in the chilly morning. Preis und Leistung passten für uns wirklich gut, besonders weil Transport, Frühstück und ein kleiner Bus dabei waren. Unser Guide Andrés kannte das Altiplano offensichtlich wie seine Westentasche: Er zeigte uns eine alte Lama-Karawanenroute und erklärte, warum die Lagune je nach Mineralgehalt mal kräftig rot, mal fast violett wirkt. Außerdem achtete er auf die Höhe und machte genügend Pausen.
