Mapuche Horseback Ride Pucon Antilco Or El Claro

Today marks the start of our exciting journey, as we leave from our hotel in Pucón at the predetermined time. We'll confirm our pick-up schedule the day before; it could be in the morning or afternoon, depending on availability and the weather conditions.

Our destination is the Huepil or Antilco area, situated 27 kilometers from Pucón. This route is a picturesque typical country road in Southern Chile. Upon arrival at the equestrian center, we'll embark on a horseback ride lasting approximately two and a half to three hours, tailored to the group's physical abilities.

Right from the start, our guide, an expert rider well-versed in training both riders and horses, will accompany us on this remarkable journey. The adventure promises to be unforgettable, regardless of the difficulty level.

There's no need to be an experienced rider to enjoy this extraordinary adventure; simply place your trust in your guide and your horse. We will traverse trails showcasing either winter or summer landscapes, each offering its unique allure, making this a true visual adventure.

In the heart of the Araucanía Volcanic Mountain Range, the classic Pehuenche landscapes will captivate us: gentle hills adorned with crops, dormant volcanic craters, and lush forests, all under a flawless sky when the sun graces us with its presence.

Throughout the journey, we'll navigate tree branches, fallen trunks, and small rosehips, among others.

To conclude our ride on a high note, our guide and rider have the delightful custom of inviting us to savor a splendid blend of Chilean red wine and Spanish chorizo, providing an opportunity to discuss life and horses.

After this shared moment, we'll begin our return to the base and subsequently make our way back to our hotel in Pucón.
